RoboHelp HTML Training

If you'd like to learn about RoboHelp Office from one of the leading teachers and practitioners in the online help industry, then you've come to the right place! Your instructor, Cheryl Lockett Zubak, has been developing online help systems since 1983. She has also been teaching RoboHelp classes since version 1.0, and has been voted "Best Teacher or Instructor" and "All Time, All Around Help Guru" by help authors around the world. She's what we in the online help business call a RoboGURU.

We teach classes on RoboHelp HTML, a component of RoboHelp Office that focuses on HTML-based help development. You can choose to focus on Microsoft HTML Help or WebHelp during the courses.

HTML Help focus

Developing HTML Help with RoboHelp HTML: In-Depth Basics. Learn how you really create HTML Help and WebHelp with RoboHelp HTML. In this workshop, you'll learn to manage your "virtual" project. You'll create a help system from start to finish - topics, styles, keywords, jump and popup links, graphics, table of contents, related topics, context-sensitivity . . . everything you need to create a working system. 2 DAYS 

Developing HTML Help with RoboHelp HTML: Beyond the Basics. In this course, you'll use RoboHelp HTML to create modular help, develop basic interactivity, add software objects (e.g., ActiveX), and do some basic JavaScripting. You'll also learn how to divert from the basic HTML Help and WebHelp models when you don't want to use the tripane or basic frame designs. 1 DAY 

RoboHelp HTML Best Practices. In this course, you'll learn about recommended ways to develop online help with RoboHelp HTML: planning, formatting, window management, using external HTML editors, and more. Although the focus is on HTML Help, we'll also cover WebHelp. You must have a working knowledge of RoboHelp HTML (the equivalent of the RoboHelp HTML In-Depth Basics and Beyond the Basics courses) 1 OR 2 DAYS

Developing WebHelp with RoboHelp HTML: In-Depth Basics. Learn how you really create HTML Help and WebHelp with RoboHelp HTML. In this workshop, you'll learn to manage your "virtual" project. You'll create a help system from start to finish - topics, styles, keywords, jump and popup links, graphics, table of contents, related topics, context-sensitivity . . . everything you need to create a working system. 2 DAYS 

Developing WebHelp with RoboHelp HTML: Beyond the Basics. In this course, you'll use RoboHelp HTML to customize a WebHelp system, manage framesets, use project and topic templates, use RoboHelp HTML with other HTML editors, use build tags, and lots more.  1 DAY
